TRADING TERMS

Inspection of goods by any intending purchaser(s) or their agent is invited and welcome as all antique items are sold 'as is and where is' unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All descriptions given are beleived to be correct, however any description as to origin, age, period, style, materials, condition, originality, genuineness or investment potential etc. is of opinion only.

Goods may be reserved and will be held for 14 days upon the receipt of a payment on account of no less than 25% of the sale price of the item(s) held for purchase unless otherwise agreed with ANTIQUES AND MORE. If at the expiry of the 14 day period (unless otherwise agreed in writing) ANTIQUES AND MORE reserves the right to:-

a) Resell the goods to another interested party (if applicable) and refund monies held on account.

b) If no other interested party exists and at the descretion of ANTIQUES AND MORE reserve the right to have the item(s) professionally moved to a commercial storage facility with the outstanding balance and additional costs to bet met by the purchaser(s) or their agents prior to the goods being released.

c) The goods shall stay on the floor but will accrue storage costs assessed at 5% of the agreed sale price per week plus GST.

d) If the purchaser(s) or their agent(s) fail to complete payment for the sale within a further 14 days of the due date then the monies held on account will be forfeited in favour of the seller(s) or their agent(s) minus ANTIQUES AND MORE'S holding costs.

Conservation and restoration is not included in the price structure however it can be organised by ANTIQUES AND MORE on behalf of the purchaser(s). All transactions between the Restorer / Conserver and the purchaser(s) or their agent(s) is between those parties only.

All reasonable care of the sold goods will be undertaken by ANTIQUES AND MORE, however responsibility for any purchased item(s) from the point of sale/ change of ownership is at the discretion and risk of the purchaser(s) or their agents.
